Facebook is one of the most used social networking platforms in the world. Most of the people spend their free time scrolling on Facebook, where they get to watch their favorite content. With this, this is the biggest platform ever to connect with other people through social media. But, do you know that there are some such tricks and features hidden in Facebook that most people are probably not aware of. These hidden features can also be very useful for you, let’s know how these special trucks of Facebook work.
Spotify Mini Player
FB allows Spotify Premium members in select regions to listen to music within the FB app on iOS and Android devices. If you are a Spotify free user, you can also take advantage of the new feature through Shuffle Mode with Ads. If you or your friend share a song on Facebook from the Spotify app, you can listen to it with FB’s in-app Spotify Mini player.
When using FB, you can go to the Message Requests folder to view messages from people who aren’t on your friends list. To access these messages, go to Facebook.com, and click the Messenger icon at the top of your Facebook home screen. Tap View in Messenger at the bottom to go full screen. Click the three-dot ellipsis menu icon and select Message Request. There you will see all those messages.

Restrict friends like this
Facebook allows you to control who can see your FB posts. From everyone to friends to friends of friends, or just specific people, there are tons of options you can choose from. If you don’t want some of your ‘friends’ to have access to see your posts, you can restrict their access. To do this, go to the profile page of the friend you want to restrict. Tap the Friends button in gray (three-dot menu > Friends on Mobile), and choose Edit Friends List > Restricted.
Unfollow people without unfriending
FB allows you to unfollow your friends without unfriending them. You can do this by unfollowing them from News Feed by selecting the ellipsis and clicking “Unfollow [friend]”. You can reactivate it later by going to Settings & Privacy > News Feed Preferences > Reconnect.
See how much time you spend on FB
FB allows you to see how much time you spend on the site each day. All you have to do is go to the hamburger menu > Settings & Privacy > Your Time on Facebook. The bar chart under View Time will display how many minutes per day you were on during the previous week; Swipe left to see the usage time of day and night. Under Manage Your Time, set a daily time reminder to be notified when you’re on the app for a certain amount of time, and create a Quiet Mode schedule to mute push notifications.
